Why I built this

Skincare shouldn’t need a stopwatch.

I started Layered because I kept rushing through my evening routine — applying retinol thirty seconds after a serum, undoing the work of both. Every skincare guide says wait. Nothing told me for how long, or when I could move on.

Layered is the timer I wish existed. Then I made it a goal that anyone could use it — VoiceOver users, Dynamic Type at AX5, Reduce Motion, Voice Control — because skincare is for every body.
